"A Shoulder to Cry On" is the latest BL Drama here to make you swoon. The drama started to air on 15th March and is available on TVING, WAVVE and Watcha in Korea. It tells the story of two high-school students struggling all alone till they find each other, someone they can rely on.

Kim Jaehan plays the role of Lee Da-yeol, an outsider in school and an archer. He found solace in the archery club at school and would collect feathers of his perfect shots. It is all peaceful till he gets in trouble with the most popular student in school, Jo Tae-hyeon. He is falsely accused of attacking Tae-hyeon. Even though Da-yeol felt the situation to be extremely unfair, Tae-hyeon felt no remorse. He continued to toy around with him, but little did they know that they would soon become closer than anyone.

One of the most interesting fact of this drama is its main leads. Shin Yechan and Kim Jaehan belong to the same K-POP group, OMEGA X. This has caught the attention of many fans all over the globe ever since the news dropped. It is unusual that members of the same group get cast together as potential lovers. Some fans were concerned that it could have been awkward for the members. They hoped that the agency was not forcing them for mere publicity and the members had agreed to the project themselves. But as soon as the series dropped, one wouldn't be able to help but swoon over them. The two are extremely adorable together and with a chemistry unmatched by any.

Shin Yechan and Kim Jaehan bring a youthful and heart-warming romance to our screens. Their story begins from the start as the two walk on the line between hate and love. Soon they begin to bare themselves before each other. Tae-hyeon might seem like the most mischievous and joyful boy to exist, but beyond that mask lies a lonely boy with great burden. He has been blaming himself for the death of his mother and unborn sibling since young age. Viewers initially got to see this dark part of him when he locks himself in his house. Though he comes back after Da-yeol's visit, cheerful as ever. Soon we realize that his sorrow and self-blaming is far more dangerous when he purposefully hits his head with a flower pot.

Before Tae-hyeon, Da-yeol's suffering may be shadowed but should not be missed. He too suffers from loneliness.  He remains an outsider and his conversations with other students are often awkward. He is unaware of the hot slangs or topics common among kids of his age and he also tends to be quiet in class. His only focus is archery, but there, too, he is underappreciated. His coach would not pat him on the back for his win but declare his skills to be average. Even though his whole life revolves around archery, Tae-hyeon's dialogue shakes the viewers. How he says that he never saw Da-yeol smile whilst playing archery. Just then one can realise how heavily he is dependent on sports to define him, even though he no longer feels passionate about them.

Tae-hyeon confessed his past to Da-yeol and Da-yeol too clears any misconception he had about the other. Da-yeol finally accepts him and lets him in whilst Tae-hyeon too begins to realise how important Da-yeol is for him. Its intresting to see how their characters have evolved and grown closer.
