On the 17th, Cosmopolitan released a pictorial and interview with Bae Suzy, who is about to release the Netflix series "Doona!". In the photo shoot released, Bae Suzy showed her pure and transparent natural charm under the autumn sunlight, giving off a clear beauty without any notice.

Based on the webtoon of the same name, "Doona!" is a romance drama about retired idol Doo-na (Bae Suzy) meeting ordinary college student Won-joon (Yang Se-jong) at a shared house. Bae Suzy expressed her special attachment to Doo-na. "The experience I had and the experience that Doo-na had are different, but I could understand Doo-na more than anyone else", she said. "I have a lot of memories from my idol days. In my early twenties, I couldn't afford to feel and express pain like Doo-na. I hid my emotions", she said.

"However, Doo-na is struggling to her heart's content while fully feeling her emotions", she said. "There is also a wicked side of her saying mean things purposely. Should I say that it was thrilling to act like that? I talked about that with the director. I hope it's a story that people misunderstand Doo-na at first and understand her later".

When asked how she would have lived if she had left her idol life behind and enjoyed campus life like Doo-na, she said, "I think I would have lived very well. Enjoying it more than anyone else!"

Meanwhile, Bae Suzy also expressed a change of heart, saying, "I have confidence in myself" after the one-top lead role, Anna, for which she was recognized for her acting ability.

"Now I have a little bit of a mindset to trust me more", Bae Suzy said with a smile, "Since then, people don't seem to see me as just a bright and pretty person, so I'm very satisfied".

Then, what kind of person does Bae Suzy want to be? "I hope I get older and wiser. I'll be with wrinkles, cool, and with my own pace. Rather than being tied to the past or the future, I try to be faithful to my daily life. Wouldn't that make me a decent adult?"
