Ban So-young Cast for "Apple of My Eye"

Actor Cho So-young has been cast in KBS 1TV's new daily drama "Apple of My Eye", her agency Lin Branding said on the 29th.

"Apple of My Eye" is a family drama that tells the story of a single daddy, Geum Kang-san (Seo Jun-young) and an adopted child, Ok Mi-rae (Yoon Da-young).

In this work, Ban So-young plays the role of Lee Seon-joo, the wife of Geum Kang-san. She gave up her dream of ballet due to sudden pregnancy and childbirth and faced unexpected changes in life. Ban So-young made her first appearance in the drama through the second episode, which aired on the 28th, the previous day.

Last year, Ban So-young met with the audience through a play based on a mystery novel by renowned Japanese novelist Keigo Higashino. It is the first time in about five years that she has been cast in a TV drama since her appearance in SBS' "Happy Sisters", which aired in 2018.
