BoA Climbs in U.S. Billboard Chart

Korean pop star BoA's "Eat You Up" has climbed to 12th place on the Billboard Chart's Hot Dance Club Play Chart. The latest ranking is the highest one ever recorded by a Korean pop singer. BoA's first release in the U.S. is ranked in the vicinity of Beyonce's "If I Were a Boy" (14th place) and Christina Aguillera's "Keeps Getting' Better" (10th).

"Eat You Up" has been steadily making advances since it entered the Billboard Chart at 42nd place in last November. The Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play Chart tells which song has been played the most in major clubs around the United States. It effectively shows the latest trend in dance and club music.

BoA's fans are keeping their eyes on how far her song can rise in the chart. Meanwhile, she will release an official debut album for the American market in March and launch her career in the U.S. in earnest.
