"People have been asking me why I want to act, even though I've already achieved so much in my singing career", she said at a press event in Seoul on Thursday. "But I'm still quite young, and times have changed. Nowadays, singers act, and actors sing as well. Boundaries in the entertainment world are being phased out".

BoA, who was cast in the leading role for the drama, plays a woman who is unlucky in love. "My character in the sitcom can yell and swear, which felt great", she said. "I was a little concerned at first, because I've never yelled at people before, but when the situation was all set, it felt quite natural. I was thrilled. I think playing such a role is a good opportunity to show various sides of myself".

The sitcom focuses on the relationships of four young men and women who have different views of love. It is scheduled to air on Sept. 11 and 12.
