On the 7th, the production team of "Chief Detective 1958" unveiled a script reading site that features a meeting of actors such as Lee Je-hoon, Lee Dong-hwi, Choi Woo-sung, Yoon Hyun-soo, Seo Eun-soo, Choi Deok-moon, and Chung Su-bin.

Director Kim Seong-hoon-III and writer Kim Young-sin, as well as actor Choi Bool-am, who played the original character of the "Chief Detective" were also present at the scene.

"Chief Detective 1958" is a drama about a detective Park Yeong-han, who specializes in arresting small thieves in the era of barbarism, breaking the emergency of corruption power into common sense and becoming a detective for the people. It tells the story of 'Park Yeong-han' from the drama "Investigation Team Leader" back in the 19670s starring Choi Bool-am, before he became a detective.

According to the production team, Lee Je-hoon will breathe new life into the work as a 'young Park Yeong-han' who takes the lead in justice more than anyone else while being angry at the reality of trampling on human dignity. On top of that, Lee Dong-hwi will play the role of Kim Sang-soon, Choi Woo-sung will play the role of Jo Kyeong-hwan, who has extraordinary power, and Yoon Hyun-soo will play the role of Seo Ho-jeong, who dreams of becoming a master investigator, as an investigation team at Jongnam Police Station.

"The synergy of actors including Lee Je-hoon, Lee Dong-hwi, Choi Woo-sung, Yoon Hyun-soo, and Seo Eun-soo is perfect", the production team of "Chief Detective 1958" said. "It was even more meaningful to have actor Choi Bool-am, who is like the symbol of "Chief Detective 1958".

Meanwhile, MBC's new drama "Chief Detective 1958" is scheduled to premiere in April.
