Eunhyuk, member of one of Asia's most popular boy bands Super Junior, has said he feels awkward around female songstress BoA although both are trained and managed by top Korean talent agency SM Entertainment.

The 24-year-old made the remark at a press conference held ahead of the boys' Seoul show of their third Asia tour "SUPER SHOW 3" on Sunday, explaining his relationship with the female solo singer he has known for at least five years.

"I don't feel that awkward around her but I think I'm increasingly feeling that way because people keep saying so", Eunhyuk remarked.

He then added, "I'll become close with her soon. I think it'll happen once I start hanging out a lot with Siwon or Donghae who are close with her", but his bandmates jokingly responded, "He just doesn't feel the need to become close with her".

Meanwhile, the band is set to perform in a total of 13 cities throughout Asia for their latest tour. The show, which kicked off in Seoul over the weekend, will continue into cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Manilla.

The boys had wrapped up their second round of concerts in Asia in April, a nine-month long tour carried out in nine cities, which set several new records such as the band becoming the first artists to hold a standing concert in China as well as the foreign artist to attract the largest audience.

Originally composed of 13 members, the group has been promoting their fourth full-length album "BONAMANA" as a ten-man band as members Kangin has entered the military, Kim Ki-bum is focusing on his acting career and Hangeng is embroiled in a legal battle with SM.
