On the 28th, local media in Japan, including Finsba News and Saizo Women, raised suspicions that the Japanese NTV drama "Alice in Wonderful Kitchen", which recently began airing the popular drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" in Korea, plagiarized.

"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" is a drama about the survival of a large law firm by Woo Young-woo (Park Eun-bin), a new lawyer with a genius brain and an autism spectrum at the same time, with a maximum audience rating of 17.5% and a lot of love overseas through OTT.

Japanese media argued that "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" and "Alice in Wonderful Kitchen" overlap with the five main settings.

As the suspicion of plagiarism intensified, Astory, the production company of "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" also confirmed this.

"We have internally confirmed similarities between the two dramas", an Astory official told X-Sports News. "It's still in the early stages of airing the drama. We are trying to watch it. I don't think we should take action right now".

The production company is in a position to decide how to respond at that point if similarity becomes a problem in the future.

The main character, Alice Yaemori (Mugi Kadowaki), is a genius chef with an autism spectrum and continues talking until someone stops her. It is similar to Woo Young-woo's excitement when she talks about whales.

In addition, both Alice and Woo Young-woo were raised by a single father and have strong friends. Alice was raised by his father, Shingo Yaemori (Nao Omori), and Alice's best friend is Kazusa Mitzuzawa (Atsuko Maeda), a gangster who made a name for herself. In particular, her friend's setting overlaps with that of a Geu Ra-mi (Joo Hyun-young) in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo".

In addition, the setting of a person who knows the secret of the main character's birth is similar. The daughter of the CEO of a pharmaceutical company, Makiko Kojo (Tae Kimura), is a person who knows Aris' past and a pharmaceutical chemist who is a colleague of Shingo. This is reminiscent of how Tae Soo-mi (Jin Kyung), the representative lawyer of Taesan law firm in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" knew the secret of Woo Young-woo's birth.

In addition, Alice is known to form a love line with Kosei Sakae (Ren Nagase), a part-timer at her restaurant, similar to Woo Young-woo falling in love with Lee Joon-ho (Kang Tae-oh), a colleague at the same law firm.
