The KMA also forecast 10 to 20 cm of snow in Gangwon Province from early Thursday to Friday morning, and 30 cm in some mountainous parts.

"Even if we don't expect snow at the time of the opening ceremony, traffic will still be affected by snow from the previous day", said the KMA.
