From Popular Children's Drama to Musical

The popular KBS TV2 children's drama "Magic Warriors Mir & Gaon" will be staged as a musical during the summer school recess from July 22 to Aug. 21 at the Seoul Kyoyuk Munhwa Howekwan Theater.
The plot of the drama revolves around Mir and Gaon, descendants of magic warriors, and magic warrior Ara, who lives in the human world and is unaware of her magical powers. The three characters gain courage and wisdom as they fight with the Dark Forces that attempt to destroy the Magic World.
Some 600 million won has been invested in the production, which is unprecedented for a children's musical. The musical will feature a variety of special effects, such as lasers, soap bubbles and snow, to attract the young audience, as well as a magnificent and eye-catching stage setting typically seen only in adult musicals.
