"UberEats enters Seoul's highly competitive online food delivery space"

South Korea already has a robust and thriving home delivery industry, but the transnational Uber has recently launched its own delivery service, UberEats, that will likely shake up the playing field. UberEats is already active in 28 countries, and Seoul's inclusion will make it the 112nd city. When asked why Seoul was next, Allen Penn, UberEats' regional manager for Asia-Pacific, said that it is "one of the most desired travel destinations in the world" and it "boasts one of the most vibrant food cultures".
