"Ramsay goes out of his way to give flavor to Cass"

British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is back in Korea to defend it's biggest beer brand, Cass: "Following last year's endorsement campaign, he is on his second crusade for the Korean lager that is often the butt of jokes among Korean beer drinkers". Cass has been criticised in the past (especially by foreigners) for being a rather weak beer, to put it mildly. But Ramsay has added his name to Cass' cause; by offering a third person view, says an OB representative, "[Ramsay] can propose an objective, transparent solution to situations that Koreans with little social experience in professional careers or flirtation often encounter". "A South Korean Startup Wants to Pair Wine with Korean Blood Sausage"

Sookyung Henriet's mission is to help "South Koreans to connect with wine by providing accessible introductions". In a recent interview with Korea Exposé, Henriet, who studies wine professionally, believes Korean's appreciation of wine could be improved (they "tend to go to the department store and buy whatever is cheapest"). After moving to Korea last year, she started her own subscription-based wine service, "Soo de vie" ('water of life').
