A North Korean refugee has created an online comic strip that "attempts to bring some humor to what is an often-harrowing journey and difficult resettlement". Choi Jeong-guk used to work for one of Pyongyang's top animation studios, SEK, but now hopes his work in the South will "help change the mindset of South Koreans, who are generally apathetic toward North Korean refugees".
