Sometimes it's the simple things that grab our attention and tease our imagination, and this picture is a simple delight. I've always preferred photographs of landscapes and objects over people, and I enjoy a photographer who takes notice of and captures the textures of the world around us. An old caldron, fallen leaves, a bolted door, charred step… what story is waiting to be told here, what stories have already come and gone?

"Photographers explore Jeju's old and new"

From the 7th November to the 14th various international and local artists will be exhibiting their wares as part of the Art Scenic International Residency Artist Program. In this post, The Jeju Weekly zooms in on one exhibition by Yoki S Jeong and Simon J Powell.
