"Korean Multimedia Artist to Light Up London's Thames With 'Floating Dreams'"

Kang Ik-joong, a South Korean installation artist, will exhibit a massive art piece along the River Thames in September. This ambitious project will feature "500 pieces of miniature paintings drawn by South Korean seniors who had to flee their hometown across the border during the 1950-1953 Korean War". It's a marvelous gesture and the final spectacle will be surely be both magnificent and memorable. Catch it if you can!

"Rusty ship transformed into cavernous pavilion for MoMA's Young Architects Program in Seoul"

A South Korean studio has refurbished a giant rusty ship to form an incredible piece of installation art : "Shinslab calls the project Temp'L. Its aim is to demonstrate how objects that have lost their function may still have value, and promote the beauty in utilitarian mass-produced objects". Stunning!
