South Korea has made incredible efforts to spread its culture with the world over the past decade, but the country has also made serious efforts to ensure that all who visit their country feel welcome. The K-wave does indeed swell both ways, and one of the areas to watch is the rise of Muslim-friendly restaurants: "It used to be that if you were a Muslim travelling to South Korea, you would have difficulty finding food that is halal or pork-free, or even a mosque or surau to pray at. That's no longer the case now".
