When seeking delectables in Korea, many foreigners rely on travel guidebooks and end up surround by, surprise, surprise, other tourists doing the same. Rebtable is a new app that aims to provide, according to its CEO, Do Hae-young, "good local food information to foreign travellers who don't speak the language so that they can enjoy their dining experience". The app makes use of local data from popular Korean search engines ("These are really authentic restaurants loved by Koreans"), and it even has a payment system built right into its interface. The app is expected to be very popular at the upcoming Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.
