[HanCinema's Drama Review] "Man to Man" Episode 10

Now that misunderstandings and deceptions have been aired like dirty laundry on "Man to Man", it's time for the very slow making up period and adorable, petty revenge for Do-ha and Actor. A few graver moments slip in as Husband, Baek, and the other baddies scheme and plot, but those parts of the drama seem the most clunky. It is the romance and friendship Seol-woo, Do-ha, and Actor that really shines.

Now that Seol-woo has been made, both Do-ha and her Oppa Actor decide to tether him to keep them by their sides under the guise of keeping an eye on an untrustworthy ghost Seol-woo. However, we all know the truth: romance and bromance reign surpreme and it's time for some wicked cuteness. Take, for example, the scene where Actor forces Seol-woo to use a golden face mask and hold hands while laying on a bed. It's so absurd that it's cute and downright touching. Actor really felt a bond with Seol-woo that Seol-woo is hesitant to reciprocate, but, like his romance with Do-ha, it's an inevitable manly bond.

As for the romance, Do-ha utterly enjoys keeping Seol-woo on a leash and, if he's being honest with himself, he loves being tied to her. Under the cover of harsh words, the two sneak glances at each other and enjoy time together that they never thought they were going to get again. Under the cover of work, Do-ha very cleverly maneuvers a sexy kiss into their routine. We can't deny that the girl is creative.

Together, the three of them have this fun chemistry that mostly occurs when they're talking about securing the wooden carvings and the keys, but I like seeing then together in all of their forms. Especially jealous Seol-woo form. Namkoong Min made a fantastically smarmy cameo as an egotistical actor who hits on Do-ha. She uses the egomaniac to make Seol-woo jealous - and it works. Normally I love a bit more substance to an episode, but the cute was really needed after the gravity of the previous episodes. Although, since the politics and mystery is becoming a bit convoluted, it's good that the jovial aspects of the show are strong. It needs something to carry it through.
