[HanCinema's News] Kim Bo-ra and Kim Woo-seok-II Confirmed for "Finland Papa"

The talent agency MCMC (Studio Sky) recently confirmed that actress Kim Bo-ra, who the agency represents, has been cast as in the upcoming drama "Finland Papa" in the leading role. Kim Bo-ra will play Lee Yoo-ri, a woman in her twenties with a dead family who works part-time at the cafe which the drama is named after. Additionally, TOP Media confirmed at the same time that Kim Woo-seok-II will play Baek Woo-hyeon, the male lead whose character was not as clearly described.

"Finland Papa" is described as a story about growth and healing. "Finland Papa" has not been mentioned in connection with any network as of yet but the project is most likely intended for streaming only platform. Kim Bo-ra had her last leading role in "Love Scene Number" on wavve back in 2021. "Finland Papa" is also currently in negotiations for a six episode run, which is more typical for streaming dramas.

Kim Bo-ra is probably best known for her role in "SKY Castle" as a competitive student. She's also appeared in many South Korean films, and is the credited lead for the horror film "The Ghost Station" which is expected to be released sometime this year. Kim Woo-seok-II is probably best known for his leading role in the web-drama "Twenty-Twenty" from last year.
