[HanCinema's News] Kong Hyo-jin and Park So-dam to Star in "The Journey to Gyeongju"

On January 25th, multiple South Korean news sources reported on the existence of the upcoming film "The Journey to Gyeongju" which will purportedly star Kong Hyo-jin and Park So-dam as sisters, as well as Kim Young-sung as Kong Hyo-jin's husband. The synopsis of the story is that a mother and her three daughters go on a revenge-themed road trip out of Gyeongju after the death of the family's youngest sister. There is no news as of yet as to who will play the mother or the third daughter.

Kim Mi-jo of the independent film "Gull" from the 2020 festival circuit will write the screenplay and the direct the project. "The Journey to Gyeongju" is the first project selected by Kong Hyo-jin following her marriage to Kevin Oh, and the next one for Park So-dam following "Death's Game" from earlier this year. Kim Young-sung's last project "Big Sleep" earned him an acting award at the Busan International Film Festival. "The Journey to Gyeongju" does not have a current release window.
