[HanCinema's News] Yoo Seon-ho and Kim Ga-eun Confirmed for "Under the Queen's Umbrella"

On August 26th, press reports confirmed the casting for two characters in the upcoming television drama "Under the Queen's Umbrella" which takes a farcical look at the royal family of the Joseon dynasty. Actor Yoo Seon-ho will be appearing as the fourth son of the queen to be played by Kim Hye-soo, Grand Prince Gye-seong. Elsewhere, Kim Ga-eun has been confirmed for the role of Tae So-yong, a one of the concubines of the royal palace.

Yoon Seon-ho's role is described as one of the more bright and positive characters in the life of the queen, with their having a better relationship than his higher-billed older brothers of more dubious competence. Kim Ga-eun plays a very different role, however, as she originally came to the palace as a regular maid and now schemes to have her own son become the crown prince. Despite this seeming antagonism to the queen, her character is described as lovely and charming.

The twenty-year-old Yoo Seon-ho is coming off a well-received performance in "Doctor Lawyer" where he played the younger version of the lead character played by So Ji-sub. Kim Ga-eun most recently appeared in "Kiss Sixth Sense" as the cousin of the character played by Seo Ji-hye. "Under the Queen's Umbrella" will begin airing on tvN in October, although the exact starting date and timeslot is as of yet unknown.
