Channel A show "Heard It Through the Grapevines" delivered news about Kim Hyun-joong and the trial with his ex-girlfriend.

The reporters appeared starting off with the story of Kim Hyun-joong. They pointed out all that happened from 2012 to 2014 from Kim abusing his girlfriend at the time and her pregnancy.

According to the show, Kim met Choi in 2012 but was reported for abuse in August, 2014. However, they took a trip to Jeju Island and reunited in 2014.

A few months later in 2015, Kim was in Japan when rumors about Choi's pregnancy came out.

In the end, the ex-girlfriend asked for 1,600 million won. 1,000 million was compensation and 600 million was alimony.

Meanwhile it turned out that Choi claimed her bruises from working out were caused by Kim Hyun-joong. She also submitted papers that showed she wasn't on the menstrual cycle, but it wasn't enough to be taken down as evidence. There were no more papers to prove her pregnancy after that.

Columnist Gwak Jeong-eun said, "One side of the trial degraded her image and the other didn't take proper measures to prevent pregnancy. It's sad to see such a tragic end between two people".

"Heard It Through the Grapevines" interviewed Kim Hyun-joong's father.

He said, "I am glad everything came out through investigations. My wife hasn't been out in a year and she even wrote a will. She wasn't comfortable".

"As for the ex-girlfriend, she's being legally processed and we are waiting for the results".
