Hwang Minhyun To Join Military

Hwang Minhyun (29), a singer and actor from the group NU'EST, will join the military next month.

"Hwang Minhyun will fulfill his mandatory military service from the 21st of next month", his agency Pledis Entertainment said on Sunday. He will start his alternative service after basic military training.

The agency also said, "There is no official event on the day of admission to the training center", adding, "We ask you to refrain from visiting the site of admission and alternative service sites".

Before joining the military, Hwang Minhyun will hold his solo fan meeting "Resolution" at Shinhan Card Artium in southern Seoul from May 8th to 10th. He will also release his new song "Lullaby" on May 13th. The new TVING original drama "Study Group", which has already been filmed, will be released in the second half of this year.
