Hwang Suk-jung Denies Membership to Organization Steeped in Scandal

Actress Hwang Suk-jung dismissed the rumors circulating that she was a part of the Yeonheedan, which is steeped in controversy regarding sex scandals.

According to Hwang's agency, she has expressed her regret for the Yeonheedan and its members with whom she's worked.

However, unlike previous reports, she's not a part of the Yeonheedan nor was she a member of it. She was cast as an honorary actress and participated in one of their shows. She was actually a part of Hanyang Repertoire.

While former art director Lee Yoon-taek stirred up a stir in society with a sex scandal, famous actors from Yeonheedan are being mentioned as part of this. Yeonheedan is known for producing famous and talented actors. Oh Dal-soo, Yoon Je-moon, Lee Min-jung, Lee Hee-jun and others have been a part of it.

Hwang Suk-jung belongs to Pull Ip ENM and is starring in the KBS 2TV drama, "Miracle That We Met".
