Ji Chang-wook in MBC drama "Empress ki"

Ji Chang-wook has been cast for the MBC drama "Empress ki".

He takes on the role of Emperor Shun, the 16th emperor of the Yuan Dynasty. He will form a three-way romance with Ha Ji-won and Joo Jin-mo.

Emperor Shun is the first son of Myeong-jong and is taken of the imperial Throne by his brother although he is the rightful emperor. He's been through several hardships during his childhood and although he acts immature to survive amongst the courtiers, he's actually boiling with fury inside.

"Empress ki" is a 50-part drama about the Koryo dominating empress of the Yuan Dynasty and is collaborated by writer Jung Kyung-soon and director Jang Yeong-cheol.

Previously, Ha Ji-won, Joo Jin-mo, Jung Woong-in, Kim Seo-hyung, Kwon Oh-joong, Lee Won-jong, Kim Young-ho, Choi Moo-sung, Jin Yi-han, Yoon Ah-jung and others have been cast for this drama.
