Madison Square Garden is regarded as a "dream stage" for pop singers, and Sunday's performance marked the first time for Asian singers to grace the venue's stage.

Famous singers who previously performed at the garden include Michael Jackson, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga.

Korean pop culture known as "hallyu" has already created a craze in Asia, France, Germany, Brazil and Australia. The popularity of K-pop is growing even in the U.S., the world's largest pop music market.
