The Suwon District Court on Thursday gave Kang a two-year-and-six-month suspended sentence, ordered him to perform 120 hours of community service and attend 40 hours of sex offender treatment programs.

In July, Kang was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting the two women, who worked for his management agency, at his home in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province.

Kang said he had dinner with them and then they went home together for some more drinks.

After they fell asleep, Kang allegedly entered their room and raped them. One of the women sent a text message to a friend saying she was trapped in Kang's home and asked her to call the police.

Kang told police at the time that he had no memory of the incident but found himself in the room with them when he regained consciousness. Later he admitted some of his charges and vowed to reflect on his past wrongdoings.
