KBI to prepare 'The Broadcasting screen content global market course'

The Korean Broadcasing Institute prepares 'The Broadcasting screen content global market course' over three days from May 31.

This education course covers 'Production and marketing strategy for oversea market capture', 'The present condition of circulation market in Japan and China', 'Theory and success example about oversea program import and programming strategy.

The time for application is on a first-come-first-served basis via Internet (http://academy.kbi.re.kr) or telephone (82-2-3219-5499) by May 27. An entry fee is 300,000 won.

On the basis of the trust and know-how of the broadcasting industry accumulated over the past 14 years, the Korean Broadcasting Institute (KBI) is laying the basis for the systematic development of the 'broadcasting industry' to cope with the changes.

It has formulated medium and long-term policies to promote the industry, trained media professionals in the use of innovative broadcasting technology, and provided various support systems for the creation of quality programs.

KBI has also systematically managed TV programs as cultural assets, establishing an integrated system for the collection, storing, processing, and servicing of relevant materials so that broadcasting professionals and businessmen, and the general public who are interested in broadcasting, may get various media-related information both on and offline.
