Kim C spreads false rumor about Incheon Airport

Singer Kim C (Kim Dae-won), 40, posted a "tweet", short Twitter message, on Monday which caused quite a stir online.
"Did you guys hear about how Incheon International Airport got acquired by All Nippon Airways (ANA)? How can this not be on the news right now?" posted Kim on his Twitter.
As soon as this was identified as false information, Kim has been blamed for his irresponsible actions. Most of the criticisms were about how he underestimated his influence as a public figure with 41,096 followers on Twitter.
Kim has made an apology about his careless mistake he had made the day before. "I want to apologize for unintentionally posting false information", said Kim. "I simply was concerned after reading it from an acquaintance's Twitter. Sorry for my followers, but let's still keep an eye out".
Incidents like this seem to generate concerns questioning Twitter's credibility as medium to deliver information compared to its considerable influence.

김C는 7일 트위터에 "인천공항 얘기 저도 지인의 트위터를 통해 알게 된 건데 RT를 안 하고 제가 글을 써서 경솔한 상황이 됐네요.
걱정스런 마음에 쓴 건데 일단 놀라게 한 점 죄송해요. 나의 팔로워 분들 퍽퍽퍽(자아비판) 그래도 계속 주시는 합시다"고 전했다. 네티즌들은 사실 확인도 안 된 '인천공항 매각' 소문을 퍼뜨린 김C의 행동이 경솔했다고 지적했다.
