Kim Da-mi and Jeon So-nee are likely to star in "Soulmate".

"Soulmate" is a movie that makes you look back on the nature of your relationship through 14 years of meeting and breaking up, friendship and love, longing and jealousy between two friends who first met at the age of 13. The original movie "Comrades: Almost A Love Story" was directed by Peter Chan and became a hot topic, with the leading actresses co-winning Best Actress for the first time in history at the Golden Horse Film Festival, a representative film festival in China.

The Korean remake was decided last year and Kim Da-mi was cast right away. Will rising star Jeon So-nee join the cast?

"Soulmate" will start filming this August.

Meanwhile, Jeon So-nee starred in numerous independent films since her debut in 2014 and gained a reputation through the drama "Encounter" and movie "Jo Pil-ho: The Dawning Rage". She's currently starring in the tvN drama "When My Love Blooms".
