Kim Hee-ae and Kim Hae-sook to star in "Herstory"

Actresses Kim Hee-ae and Kim Hae-sook are starring in the movie "Herstory". According to sources, "Herstory" is based on the true story of the many legal struggles of comfort women against the Japanese government.

Directed by Min Gyoo-dong, the film tells the story of ten comfort women who went through twenty tough legal battles from the years 1992 and 1998.

Kim Hee-ae takes on the role of Moon Jeong-sook, the head of the plaintiff's that had struggled without help, and Kim Hae-sook plays Bae Jeong-gil, one of the survivors of the terrible past.

Lee Yoo-young plays Ryu Seon-yeong who helps Moon Jeong-sook through the trial. Kim Sun-young is her friend. Other cast members include Moon Sook, Lee Yong-nyeo, Park Jeong-jae, and others.
