Korea Times Becomes Official Paper for Pusan Film Festival

Among filmmakers in Asia, "Have you been to Pusan in October?" has become one of the frequent greetings. During its relatively short 10-year history, The Pusan International Film Festival, to be held on Oct. 6-14 this year, has grown into one of the hottest spots of the global film industry.

Marking its 10th anniversary, The Korea Times is proud to announce we will publish its official English-language newspaper during the eight days of the run. Around 8,000 copies of the tabloid newspaper, to be published in cooperation with the festival's organizing committee, are expected to serve as an effective guide to visiting foreign filmmakers, actors and tourists to the hosting city.

The festival's organizing committee yesterday pronounced that it would showcase 307 films from 73 nations, making it the largest number ever in its history.
