Lee Ji-han-I Dies in the Middle of "Kokdu: Season of Deity" During 'Itaewon Disaster'

It has been confirmed that there is a work that the late actor Lee Ji-han-I, who sadly died in the Itaewon disaster, was filming.

On the 31st, MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama " Kokdu: Season of Deity " said to Sports Chosun, "The filming of "Kokdu: Season of Deity" has been suspended. We will resume filming after reorganization in the future", it said.

"Kokdu: Season of Deity" is a fantasy romance in which a messenger named Kkok-du (Kim Jung-hyun), who comes down to the earth every 99 years to punish humans, meets a doctor with mysterious abilities, Han Gye-jeol (Im Soo-hyang), and works as a visiting doctor. Lee Ji-han-I is said to have filmed the drama by playing Jeong-deon, the ex-boyfriend of Han Gye-jeol.

Earlier, Lee Ji-han-I died in a crush accident in Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 29th. In a related move, his agency 935 Entertainment said in an official position on the 30th, "A precious family actor Lee Ji-han-I has become a star in the sky and left us".

Meanwhile, Lee Ji-han-I appeared in Mnet's "Produce 101 Season 2", which aired in 2017, and played the role of Shin Nam-hyeon in a web drama which was released in 2019.
