Lee Min-ho, Kim Soo-hyun and Park Bo-gum are coming back to dramas. As Lee Min-ho and Kim Soo-hyun are making their comeback after a long time since they were discharged from the military, attention is being paid to whether their appearance will become a relief for the recently sluggish melodrama.

Lee Min-ho from the KBS drama "Boys over Flowers", SBS's "The Heirs" and SBS's "The Legend of the Blue Sea" came back with the SBS drama "The King: Eternal Monarch" on the 17th of April. It's been three years since his discharge from the military. "The King: Eternal Monarch" is a fantasy romance in which Lee Gon, a science-type emperor of the Korean Empire who wants to close the door of a dimension, and Jeong Tae-eul, a Korean detective who wants to protect someone's life, people and love, cooperate across the two worlds.

"The King: Eternal Monarch" was written by Kim Eun-sook, whose recent successful hits are "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" and "Mr. Sunshine", drawing attention since before the drama even came out. Lee Min-ho and Kim Eun-sook have worked on "The Heirs" together.

Kim Soo-hyun, who only made cameo appearances in the tvN drama "Hotel Del Luna" and tvN drama "Crash Landing on You" since his discharge in July last year, is coming back very soon. The work he chose is the tvN drama "It's Okay to Not Be Okay". It is a fantasy romantic drama about a psychiatric ward caregiver and an impulsive fairy tale writer suffering from antisocial personality disorder. Kim Soo-hyun takes on the role of Moon Gang-tae, the psychiatric ward caregiver. Moon Gang-tae lost his parents when he was young and lived a life of devotion to his older brother, who has autism spectrum disorder. The comeback is Kim Soo-hyun's first drama in five years since KBS2's "Producers", which won him the first KBS Grand Prize in 2015. It is also Kim Soo-hyun's first work after his move to Gold Medalist, his new agency after staying with Key East for 5 years. Kim Soo-hyun received great love through MBC's "The Moon Embracing the Sun" and SBS's "My Love from the Star".

Park Bo-gum will also return to tvN's "Record of Youth" a year after tvN's "Encounter". "Record of Youth", which scheduled to air in the second half of the year, depicts the process of male and female characters becoming stars against the backdrop of Hannam-dong. Park Bo-gum plays the role of Sa Hye-joon, a model and actor who dreams of achieving harmony between the ideal and reality. Park Bo-gum has established himself as a Hallyu star through "Reply 1988", "Love in the Moonlight" and "Encounter".
