Age averaging 76 years of age, when we add the foursome's years of acting experience together, it's over 200 years. Actors Shin Goo (82), Im Hyun-sik (73), Park In-hwan (73), and Yoon Duk-yong (76) gathered to show us an inspiring story of four elderly men going after their life's bucket list. The movie "Be-Bop-A-Lula" has been gathering much attention since the beginning when the viewers heard about the four elderly actors taking onthe leads of the movie. In the movie industry full of energetic younglings, this rare combination of a senior F4 may be a bit odd, but is surely exciting.

In the interview held at a stylish café in Seoul, actor Shin Goo said, "It might be challenging to make huge benefits when just us elderly people in a movie but I'm hoping there's more movies like this in the future".

Im Hyun-sik added, "I have yet to find a satisfying elderly movie in South Korea. Don't you think this movie can be a starting point? There are many actors who may be old but still have the heart and attitude of their younger selves 50 years ago. We need a sequel Haha"

The four actors are over half way through their acting careers. They discussed their thinking on the life that lies ahead of them. They all shared that when thinking about the life they have left, death is almost a nonchalant subject, bound to happen.

Shin Goo commented, "Right now, this time is the most precious. If we live earnestly, it becomes past and a history. I just act as I feel the accountability. Death is not a threat. Just keep on going like right now is what we need to do".

Park In-hwan chimed in saying, "I heard it somewhere that we need to live each day thinking of death, but I just can't do that. I decided not to acknowledge my age unnecessarily. I'm just lacking a bit of flexibility on my body and focused mind compare to my younger days but that's about it. If I work hard, I can remember all my lines too, so, Haha".

These veteran actors used the phrase "trying our best" and the word "effort" a lot. When it comes to their passion for acting, it was as heated as any young, fresh actors on the field. Im Hyun-sik shrugged his shoulders and playfully said, "There's been a time I had to bring a wheelchair to the set. Though, as soon as the camera starts filming, I forget about all the pain… I guess acting is my destiny".

Park In-hwan shared his feelings saying, "We need to continue our acting as long as our body allows. When you are old, mere effort doesn't cut it. You need to give your best, and do it well. Thus, I'm going to give my best so I can hear comments like elderly people work even harder".

Cheers to these excellent actors giving their best even in their advanced age. Age is just a number when it comes to passion and determination. Movie "Be-Bop-A-Lula" is scheduled to release on January 24th.
