When a reporter asked actress Kim Tae-ri about her reasoning behind choosing the movie "Little Forest" right after her successful debut in "The Handmaiden", Kim Tae-ri simply answered: "There's not a particular reason for it. It's not like I had a lot of offer from other movies either". At such an honest answer, everyone at the scene burst into laughter. Actress Kim Tae-ri is one of the hottest actress in South Korea's showbiz right now yet she is so innocent and carefree.

Along with the other cast members Ryu Jun-yeol and Kin Ki-joo, Kim Tae-ri answered several questions regarding the movie at the press conference.

 Q. "Since "Little Forest" needs to capture the details of the four seasons, the making of this movie took little over a year. Weren't you worried about how long the movie was taking?"

A. "I didn't hesitate when I chose this movie, because it was such a precious opportunity for me to take part in such movie like this. I think there's a certain energy about our movie. Even I felt the healing power while I was filming".

Q. "Do you feel any difference about yourself after filming this movie?"

A. "Not sure yet. I think I'm always changing, even at this moment".

Q. "I heard the set had a very different atmosphere than any other movies, any comments on that?"

A. "When I met with the director for the first time, I felt the natural atmosphere from him and when I got to the set, I was able to learn and feel many things. Pondering about life, thinking about nature… I think director's influence was huge. That type of thing was the most enjoyable part while filming. From working at the farm, I've gained various knowledge in the type of crops, when do they sprout, what's their strengths and weaknesses, and how to cook them. I've really enjoyed learning these".

Q. "Your character had a lot of cooking scenes. How was that like?"

A. "I had to decide how professional I should be. I shouldn't look too much like a pro, but since she is smart and skillful in her cooking, I had to quickly adopt into the motion".

Kim Tae-ri answered all the questions sincerely, along with that gentle smiles of hers. The upcoming movie "Little Forest" is scheduled to release on February 28th in South Korea and many of Kim Tae-ri's fans are anxiously waiting for the release. As Kim Tae-ri's line on her poster suggests, "Little Forest" is inviting everyone to come and rest their mind while watching this nature-surrounded, aesthetically pleasing movie filled with warmth and hope.
