"Memories of Murder", "Voice of a Murderer", the power of true movies!

There are many risks that follow making a movie about a real life event. However, sincerity that can't be found in made up movies and detailed structure based on facts brings great inspiration.

One movie that was based on a true story was the 2003 box office hit, "Memories of Murder". It dealt with the mysterious serial killings in the 1980s. Society woke up once again as it revived the grudge of innocent women that were murdered.

2007 movie "Voice of a Murderer" also is about the Lee Hyeong-ho case in 1991. It helped to create a movement to find this child as the case was unsolved and the murderer not captured.

"Children..." this year is based on the "Frog children" case where 5 kids who went out to catch salamanders returned as skeletons 11 years later.
