She will be taking on the role of Kim Hwa-jin, a hot-blood prosecutor who works with Ju Ji-hoon (Ji Hyeon-soo) who wants to clear his name, searching for victims.

Choi Sung-eun debuted in 2019 with the film "Start-Up" and became the next generation rising star, winning the Rookie Fox Award at the 25th Chunsa Film Festival.

She then starred in the Wavve Original Cinematic Drama series "SF8" 'Joan's Galaxy' and left a deep impression with her sensitive acting that depicted her complicated emotions.

This year, she starred in the JTBC drama "Beyond Evil", her first drama and was favored for her excellent performance, even being nominated for the Rookie of the Year award at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards, drawing keen attention from the public.

As if to prove this, she landed in the lead role of the Netflix "The Sound of Magic" and so did she in "Gentleman".

It is rumored that the production team, which had previously been looking for charismatic actors such as Ju Ji-hoon and Park Sung-woong, who confirmed casting, unanimously selected Choi Sung-eun's acting ability, where toughness and delicacy coexist.

"Gentleman" is an action crime film that confronts the reality of a huge corruption and will be released exclusively on Wavve.
