Directed by Kwon Soo-kyeong, this film is based on the true story of a mentally disabled man, who decides to run for his mother.

Gi-bong is a 40-year-man with the mental age of an 8-year old child. He lives with his mother who is in her 80s, and whom he loves more than anyone or anything in the world. He makes a living by helping out neighbors with small things and getting food in return. What he is famous for is his love toward his mother and his talent in running. He even wins a race in his town. As he learns that he can make enough money to buy his mother a full denture if he wins a half-course Marathon for amateurs, he decides to go through an intensive training program to prepare for it.
