Director Chang Tae-you who directed the first "My Love from the Star" met with locals in China on his promotional visit.

According to various Chinese media, Jang is currently working on "My Love from the Star 2". However, there won't be Jun Ji-hyun or Kim Soo-hyun in this one because Jun Ji-hyun gave birth recently and he's about to be enlisted.

To the question if director Jang felt pressured about the fact that the best Hallyu star went from Professor Do to Song Joong-ki, Jang answered, "The pressure would have been on Kim Soo-hyun and as a drama maker, I just do my job".

"My Love from the Star" was released in Korea in December 2013. Jun Ji-hyun and Kim Soo-hyun gained tremendous popularity in China because of this. Rumors about "My Love from the Star 2" spread but this is the first time the director himself mentioned it. If the cast is to change, then the director might also be someone else.
