[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Everyone Is a Suspect in "Misty" 3-Minute Highlight Video

I do love me some whodunnit goodness, and "Misty" is making me suspect everyone in its latest highlight reel. No one is having a happy life here and everyone seems to have a motive. I'm starting to suspect people I didn't suspect before, so I suppose this means that this promotional piece for the drama is doing its job.

It's clearer than ever now that our victim is Kevin Lee (Ko Jun), but the complicated, nasty connections between everyone paint a more grim picture every time. Our heroine, Ko Hye-ran (Kim Nam-joo) is the obvious suspect and Seo Eun-joo (Jeon Hye-jin-II) has also been one as the new wife of the very clearly still cheating Kevin. The highlight reel reveals domestic abuse as another nail possibly driven by Eun-joo to her husband's coffin.

Yet we have so many more suspects. According to earlier character information, the anchor replacing Hye-ran, Han  Ji-won (Jin Ki-joo) is Kevin's lover as well. Then we have the man with a vendetta against Hye-ran, her station boss and others who probably dislike her climb to power. Our heroine doesn't look like someone many love or even truly respect.

However, there is a suspect closer to home and that is Kang Tae-wook (Ji Jin-hee). I find it very curious that the man proclaims his love from the beginning, despite Hye-ran making her lack of interest in a love-based marriage clear. More importantly, Tae-wook seems to hold onto it quite ferociously. Would be go as far as to murder someone and pretend to be his wife's hero afterwards?

Which brings us back to my original point; everyone is a suspect. I look forward to being engaged by "Misty", whether it's actually a romantic work or a thriller.
