[Orion's Daily Ramblings] First Heartbreaking Teaser for Lee Bo-young's "Mother - Drama"

The series hasn't even started and I am in the most wonderful pain over the first video look into "Mother - Drama". The teaser reveals the premise of a desperate teacher's kidnapping in the best way possible; it presents the words directed at the very child whose life is being changed, Hye-na (Heo Yool).

Our heroine does not beat around the bush about things. She tells the little girl that she will simply take her away and asks her if she can handle that decision. This is an important story-opening scene and I am delighted to see its simplicity in presentation and content maintained. We do not see or hear Hye-na yet, but if the series stays true to the source material, this little girl is not simply going to be a passive plot device of an existence.
We are in for the adventure of a very bonded duo each carrying their own demons, Hye-na sadly at a tender age where she should not have to. I am ready to feel and feel a lot. Hit me with your best shot, "Mother - Drama".
