[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Jung Yu-mi and Lee Kwang-soo Tackle Police Work in New Stills for "Live"

I swear, Dramaland wants me to suffer lately, because there are so many shows worth checking out in the upcoming months. Noh Hee-kyeong's police drama "Live" is definitely one of them, and it has taken its first photographic peek-a-boo with stills of leads Jung Yu-mi and Lee Kwang-soo, along with some basic character information on their roles.

Jung Yu-mi plays Han Jeong-oh, a rookie with a fierce will for survival. Jeong-oh works hard, and she is bold and determined to keep up with the others. Lee Kwang-soo is Yeom Sang-soo, the team jinx who somehow always manages to run into trouble. Sang-soo joined the force to make ends meet, rather than out of a sense of duty. Although he is bewildered by the reality of it compared to his expectations, he works hard.
A feisty rookie and a walking mishap sounds like quite the duo. I like the idea of "Live" as a drama about the reality of police work, versus the either glamorized of vilified fictional takes we usually see. My hope is to see a diverse cast of characters with different backgrounds, motivations and challenges. The cast is absolutely great, the creators are a solid, trusted team. I'm excited to "meet" everyone as time goes by.
"Live" premieres on March 10th on tvN, so we will be seeing a lot of promotional goodies from now on.
