On the 22nd, Park Byung-eun met with Joy News 24 at a cafe in Apgujeong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and conducted an interview for the end of the tvN drama "Eve".

"Eve", which ended on the 21st, is a drama about a woman's most intense and deadly romance which was planned out for 13 years.

Above all, "Eve" drew attention with the return of Seo Yea-ji, who was controversial over privacy issues. When Park Byung-eun was discussing his appearance, Seo Yea-ji had already confirmed her casting. There was a lot of concern about attracting attention with a different issue than the work, but Park Byung-eun said, "No matter what the issue of the other actor was, I didn't care about because the meeting between me and the actress was for the work".

He also explained that the decisive reason for his decision to appear in "Eve" was to soothe the regret that he had not been able to fulfill. Park Byung-eun said, "I've never done a romance that loves someone passionately. I had a dream or longing for this as a male actor", he confessed.

"When I looked at the script, I felt like putting everything into it. I heard pity for Kang Yoon-gyeom. Pity means I'm connected with him", he said adding, "It was a piece I really didn't want to lose. I fully anticipated that there would be a bed scene or something to create a topic", he said.

Meanwhile, Park Byung-eun plans to review his next film after the end of "Eve".
