Park Hwan-hee in "The Matchmakers"

Actress Park Hwan-hee will present a historical drama performance through "The Matchmakers".

Image 9 Comes announced on the 11th that Park Hwan-hee will appear in KBS2's new Monday-Tuesday drama "The Matchmakers".

"The Matchmakers" is a struggling comic melodrama in which the Joseon Dynasty's widowed husband Sim Jeong-woo and a widowed wife named Jeong Soon-deok joining forces to marry single men and women in the Joseon Dynasty.

According to the company, Park Hwan-hee plays the role of Yeoju, a producer of Dohwabon belonging to Hongwol Guest House, the top guest in Hanyang. Yeoju is a person who lends her name and status so that Jeong Soon-deok (Cho Yi-hyun), can become the 'goddess of matchmaking'.

"The Matchmakers" is a historical drama in which Park Hwan-hee appears six years after MBC's "The King Loves" in 2017.

Earlier, she met viewers through SBS drama "Payback" and MBC's "Numbers" and ENA "New Recruit - Season 2".

"The Matchmakers" will premiere at 9:45 PM on the 30th.
