"Phantom Detective" Lee Je-hoon, will he beat "A Werewolf Boy" Song Joong-ki?

Director Jo Seong-hee who transformed pretty-boy Song Joong-ki into a werewolf and succeeded, is turning Lee Je-hoon into the next scene stealer this time in "Phantom Detective".

Director Jo Seong-hee set a record for Korean mellow movies with "A Werewolf Boy". He managed to turn Song Joong-ki's existing image and turn it into a rough and wild one. Four years later today, Jo Seong-hee meets Lee Je-hoon with "Phantom Detective".

"Phantom Detective" depicts a detective named Hong Gil-dong who has no fear, no feelings, no memories and no friends but has a 99% success rate in any case he deals with. However, there is one case he hasn't been able to solve for 20 years and one day he stumbles across a shocking truth involving a gang organization. Lee Je-hoon is detective Hong Gil-dong. He is bad-tempered and can't be bothered to do anything but is obsessed with cases and has a 99% success rate.

Lee Je-hoon is prepared to come out with a new character. A recent poster reflects on how bad-tempered he is in the new movie.

Jo Seong-hee said, "Lee Je-hoon is perfect for the role of Hong Gil-dong. He has the good and the bad in his face as well as sharpness and sincerity. I can't' imagine anyone else who would've done it as well as he did".

"Phantom Detective" is coming to cinemas this May.
