An interview was held at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 17th with actor Ha Jung-woo, who appeared in the movie "Hijacking" (director Kim Sung-han-I).

"Hijacking" is a movie about the extreme situation that occurs when an airplane is hijacked in the air over South Korea in 1971.

Yeo Jin-goo played the role of Yong-dae, an airliner hijacker who has lived under criticism and discrimination. The actor attracted attention by transforming into the most shocking villain since his debut.

"It's homework that's already been solved. It's natural for a Korean man to go there", he said about military service. "The specific date has not been set yet. But I'm working hard on it".

Many people expect to see his mature image after serving in the military. "We're almost there. I'd appreciate it if you could understand that", Yeo Jin-goo said in an easy-going manner.

Yeo Jin-goo confessed, "I'm looking forward to being in my 30s. I bullied myself a lot in my 20s. There was a lot of frustration".

"Since I was young, I think my work has been more of a fun and interesting game. I felt like I'm going on a field trip, and I was supported by many people, movies and dramas were made, and I didn't feel much about being the main character, but after a year or two, I was scared of acting", he said.

He added, "It was difficult to feel like going to a space where a lot of homework to do was piled up when I was not enjoying acting like before".

"I wish the 10 years (between the ages of 20 and 30) would have played a big role for me, but at this point, I feel comfortable and looking forward to my 30s because I think I have more experience than I thought", he said.

In his 20th year since his debut in the 2005 film "Sad Movie" (director Kwon Jong-gwan), he said, "I feel that time has passed and I have been blessed".

"I started dreaming of being an actor when I was about 14, so I don't think I'm in my full 20th year, but I feel grateful and happy that I've been given a life to become an actor".

"Hijacking" will be released in theaters on the 21st.
