Despite viewers' laments, KBS 2TV's 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' ended its story. Many fans are already interested about whether season 2 of 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' is coming or not.

By the interview between NEWSEN, the production crew of 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' stated that they found many points where story could be improved throughout the making of this drama and they wanted to produce another story with these improvements.

But before this interview, writer Kim Tae-heui said, “I never thought about making season two of 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal'. I was so lucky to meet all the crews and actors/actresses for this drama. I'm so sad that a chance like this seems like it will never be come again”

Kim Won-seok PD who produced this drama also said to reporters, “I do not have anything to do with 'season 2'. Maybe actors and fans want this but the production crews don't seem like it.”

After all these statements, the production company finalized by saying, “There will be no meaning to season 2 when all main production members are leaving. But there is a pretty good chance that we will try another 'Youth romance' once again.”
