Russian Figure Skater Medvedeva on Cloud Nine to Meet EXO

Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva seemingly made one of her dreams come true by meeting K-pop boy band EXO, of whom she says she is a big fan.

She got a chance to get up close and personal with the band before the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang on Sunday.

The organizing committee in cooperation with EXO's management agency arranged the special meeting for Medvedeva, who describes herself as an EXO fanatic. She was also presented with a copy of EXO's album autographed by all the band members when she arrived for the Olympics on Feb. 9.

"I was so happy when I got the album with [EXO's] autographs, and that may have helped me to achieve a good result", she said.

Medvedeva won the silver medal in the women's singles figure skating.
