Seo Kang-joon in talks for MBC's new drama 'Monster - 2016'

Seo Kang-joon may co-star with Hwang Jung-eum in MBC's new drama.

Seo Kang-joon's agency Fantagio told Xports News on January 15th, "Seo Kang-joon has been offered a leading role for MBC's new Monday & Tuesday drama, "Monster - 2016" and is discussing the details. Nothing has been decided yet".

Writer Jang Yeong-cheol ("Giant", 'Incarnation of Money', "Empress ki") is in charge of the screenplay. "Monster - 2016", of which title was previously 'Tyrant' tells a story about a man who fights with greed and overcomes all the trials and tribulations in order to achieve his love.

Hwang Jung-eum, who was loved much for her roles in 'Kill Me, Heal Me' and "She Was Pretty" last year, also has been offered a female lead as Cha Joo-yeon. "Monster - 2016" is slated to begin in April once "Glamorous Temptation" has finished.

Seo Kang-joon is a member of actor group Surprise and is currently starring in tvN's "Cheese in the Trap".
